Position Description:

Job purpose

• Act as receptionist and telephone operator
• Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face
• Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers

Key Responsibilities

• To answer telephone, screen and direct calls
• To take and relay messages
• To direct visitors to correct destinations
• To schedule and maintain appointments
• To perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications and experience

• Holder of a certificate of secondary education with knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, customer services principles practices and keyboard skills
• At least 2 years working experience in reputable organization

General Competencies, Skills and Attributes

• A pleasant personality
• Ability to communicate and write effectively in English and Swahili
• Competence in the use of computer software (MS Office)
