This assistance is complemented by programmes to increase wealth creation, improve the provision of basic services, and build a more accountable democratic state.
DFID Tanzania is seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer to join our team. The Accounts Officer plays a key role in the management of the day to day running of the Accounts Section.
Responsibilities:
• Process payments in line with DFID’s accounting principles.
• Ensure the Cash Book is 100% accurate, and that the balance sheets are reconciled at the end of the month.
• Ensure monthly financial reports are sent to DFID’s Headquarters by the stipulated deadlines.
