In order to realize significant growth opportunities in the pipeline we need to recruit a CIT Project/Operations Manager, initially on contract and later on permanent basis, to lead a significant new project in Tanzania.
This is an exciting challenge and potentially transformational for the Tanzanian business.
Role Responsibility:
• You will be working with a combined Local and Ex-Pat leadership team which is well placed to take advantage of new opportunities in the business.
• This role can be either a long term/permanent role or a 6 month secondment with very good chances of further work on other cash projects in the East Africa region subsequently.
• The working environment in Tanzania is safe and there is a great deal of attractions locally ranging from Safaris in the Serengeti, to weekends in Zanzibar and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Strong CIT operations background and experience
• Evidence of ability to set up operations
• Proven man management skills including recruiting, training, and performance management
• Most important of all though, is the ability to adapt quickly to a new environment and to be able to make and implement decisions quickly and effectively
