DIRECTOR OF FINANCE (DF):
1.1 Job Purpose;
Heading finance and IT department your role will be to direct and oversee all of the financial activities to include the preparation of current financial reports and forecasts for future business growth.
1.2 Role Responsibilities:
• Strategic financial planning • Forecasting • Management and monitoring • Support the Boards in the preparation of budbets and financial reports
including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports for government regulatory agencies. • Contributes to the achievement of the company object providing advice and guidance on financial strategy. • Oversees all accounting procedures and systems used by the Company. • Meet with the Boards of Directors regularly to keep them informed and to offer direction. • Review reports and analyzes projection of sales and income against actual figures and suggests methods of improving the planning process. • In conjunction with the Board, assess the long term financial trends and review prospects for future growth of income and new product areas. • To ensure the company meets its inancial and legal responsibilities.
• 1.3 Qualification and Experience:
• Full accounting qualification e.g. CPA ACCA,ACA Or equivalent by not less than seven years post qualification working experience five of which must be at a senior supervisor/management level. A degree in economics, financial management or MBA will l be added advantage. Registration with NBAA In the category “Authorized Accountant” is a necessity.
1.4 Remuneration:
Competitive remuneration packages will be awarded to the successful candidate.
